Students Activities

Children’s Festival – Inviting School children from the age group of 5 to 15 years to enhance their skills in personality, communication, art and crafts.

Eye Camps – In Collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, the Management of this College conducts Eye camps every month last Sunday.

Free Medical Camps – Frequently Free Medical Camps are conducted for Teachers and students with the help of Aruppukottai Government Hospital Staff.

Awareness camps – Several awareness camps are conducted for the benefit of public by our students such as AIDS awareness, TB awareness, Tobacco awareness, Non-Alcoholic awareness and Traffic Rules awareness.

Reaching the Un-reached – Select Students frequently visit Old Age Homes and Orphanages in and around Aruppukottai, to listen to their grievances and help them in getting their basic needs.

Village Adoption – P. Thottiyankulam, a village 12 kms. away is adopted by the College. Every month one of the departments of the College visits the village to impart information regarding Health and Hygiene, Child care, Women’s Rights, Consumer awareness and advocating Self Help Groups. Giving training to the women of the village to prepare sanitary items like Phenyl, soap cake and powder and Blue Liquid .

Public Friendly Students – Nearly twenty students acts as scribes to the visually impaired students of nearby schools. Student volunteers help the State Government in collecting statistics about handicaps in promoting afforestation, Child Labour, Destitute widows, Old age pensioners and helping the Government in Conducting Job Fair fairly at the District level.
